Beautiful hand carved horsehair marble multicolor vase with carved geometric shapes outlined in white around the vase with rings of blue, green, brown and yellow. This vase is sign per by a Navajo named Nimi Tiw, Navajo.
The artist applies a thinlayer of horsehair to the pot right after it's been fired. The hair is then burnt off at a precise temperature, creating a marble pattern on the vessel's surface. Which creates a one of a kind unique design.
