History on Pearline:  Blue Pearline glass originated in the late 19th century (Victorian era) and was produced by British makers like George Davidson & Sons, known for their innovative opalescent effects that shift from deep ice blue to milky white depending on the light. This technique involved layering clear blue glass with opalescent white for a pearlescent, ethereal glow, hence the name "Pearline."  Featuring elegant scalloped edges and functional designs for table centerpieces, combining utility (candle illumination) with decorative flair.
