Charming antique pair of porcelain salt and pepper shakers by Rosenthal (R.C. Versaille Bavaria), made in Germany circa 1891-1906. These feature delicate hand-painted blue flowers and greenery on a white ground, with light green perforated tops, scalloped edges, graceful fluted bodies, and gold gilt accents. Clearly marked on the underside with the authentic green stamp: crown over R.C., ‘VERSAILLE BAVARIA’. Each shaker measures approximately 2.5 inches tall. Perfect for collectors of early Rosenthal Bavaria porcelain, vintage tableware, or cottagecore/shabby chic decor. In excellent vintage condition. A lovely example of fine German craftsmanship from the turn of the 20th century.
